As it nears Independence Day here in the U.S., I wanted to share with you a little bit about the amazing freedom we have in Christ our Savior. "You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" Galatians 5:13-14
As Believers, we truly are not under the law. Instead, we are called to love one another. We must evaluate every situation and instead of asking "does this obey the law?" Ask "Am I showing love toward my neighbor in this?" However, do not be confused. We must obey our parents in everything, unless it goes against the Bible. The same goes for all other authority over us. So, you see, in Christ we are not confined to a set of rules and laws. Instead, we have only one.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"
2 Corinthians 5:17

Live as a new Creation! In Him,
Becky
