I thought this was an awesome piece of scripture because it really gets the point across on what our blog is about. We want to be here to encourage you girls and to help you get serious about God. Like we have said many times before the only way to do that is to get on your knees before God! I know I have said this so many times but I really really want us all to be strong in the Lord and be lights in this dark world we live in. The devil will put many challenges in our lives to attack us and to try to get us to turn away from God. God doesn't say we won't be persecuted as Christians, but however He does say this: to consider it absolute pure joy whenever we face trials, temptations, and test of all kinds. (James 1:2) Those trials that we face should not be a stumbling block to us but it should make us lean on God even more and turn to Him. Sometimes God will allow hardships in our lives because we have been falling away from Him. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. -Prov. 3:5&6
