The Lost Get Found

If you're anything like me, you find a new favorite song almost every time you turn on the radio. Right now, my favorite is "The Lost Get Found" by Britt Nicole. The chorus says:
Don't let your lights go down/ Don't let your fire burn out/ 'Cause somewhere, somebody needs a reason to believe/ Why don't you rise up now?/Don't be afraid to stand out/ That's how the lost get found/ The lost get found.
I believe that is so true! The lost will never be found if as Christians we blend into the world. We have to stand out. People need a reason to believe, and if the world continues to see us as hypocrites and people who won't stand up for their beliefs, then what reason would we be giving them? Don't let your fire burn out! Philippians 1:27a says "Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ." For me, this sums it all up. This is how we are to live our lives. Be in God's Word, and then conduct yourself accordingly. I know this is so tough to do, but we just have to work together and encourage one another! Don't let your lights go down!
