James 1:19-21

We have a Bible in The Message version and I thought this was a really neat passage of scripture.

19-21Post this at all the intersections, dear friends: Lead with your ears, follow up with your tongue, and let anger straggle along in the rear. God's righteousness doesn't grow from human anger. So throw all spoiled virtue and cancerous evil in the garbage. In simple humility, let our gardener, God, landscape you with the Word, making a salvation-garden of your life. (James 1:19-21, The Message)

My favorite part was the ending where it says, "let our gardener, God, landscape you with the Word, making a salvation-garden of your life." Isn't that really cool?! It's like I said yesterday, how we need be in God's word and fill our lives with it. In order to have a close personal relationship with God, we have to be reading our Bibles everyday. It's the only way to be close to God. I want God to landscape me with the Word... how about you?

In Him,
Jessica :-)
