Have you walked away?

Do you ever feel like God doesn't hear you? Maybe it seems like He has left you when times are really tough. Well hopefully while reading this passage of scripture you can understand that God never ever leaves you, we are always the one who leaves Him.

Psalms 77:1-20 says that we feel like we cry out to God and He doesn't hear us. That he has walked away and won't listen to our prayers. Then, however, the writer says that we look back and see everything that God has done. All He has made, everything He has blessed us with, and think "what god is as Great as our God?" Remember how amazing and wonderful our Lord is!

Isaiah 59:2 says: But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.

So when we are crying out to God about something, think first, is there a sin that is separating me from God? And if so, ask God for forgiveness for it.

Sunday, at church, my pastor was talking about how to pray. He was saying that before we ask God for anything we need to thank Him! Maybe you have been falling away from God, and haven't been consistently reading your Bible. Be encouraged as you read this!! God loves you and wants you to be close to Him. So love Him back and don't walk away from Him today.

I'm praying for all of you!

Love you guys! :)
