Why did God create the world?

God created the world for him (Colossians 1:16). He created this world so we might live to worship him. When we first sinned, God threw us out of the garden into the world. We then were fully exposed to the crulety of this world. He then sent his son to die for us, so that we can be forgiven. Because he died on that cross for us we will spend forever with him. He knew everything that would happen in the world even before he created it, but he still choose to make us. Because God created the world, we now will spend our enternity giving him praise for he is a great God.

16For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.
