Philippians 4:8
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
The books you read, the movies you watch, the people you hang out with, those are all things that influence your life. You are going to act like the people you spend the most time with. You will think about the things you read and watch. So are they pure? Is it admirable? We have to be very careful about what we let in, what we let our influence us. Satan can so easily get a foothold in our life and get us thinking about the wrong kind of things. Don't let that happen! Let Jesus take over, and strive to think about things that would please Him. :)
