Fast

Sometimes I find it hard to really get quiet and learn from the Lord. I think this is due mostly to our busy lives and all the technology. God tells us to, "Be still and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10) Everyone needs to take some time to be alone and meditate on God's word, but it isn't easy. This week we are taking a break from the computer to do just that. I encourage you to do the same. Your relationship with God should be of the utmost importance, and this week is a great time to think of that. Commit to spending the time you usually would on the computer (or any other technology you think it would be fitting to "fast" from) with Christ. Have a very merry Christmas as you focus on the love the Father poured out on us when He sent His Son.
