Procrastinating gets the best of us. It's a tough thing to conquer, but it definitely needs to be conquered. It. Is. Sin. Procrastination is nothing other than laziness. God calls us to use our time wisely because, it is really His time. The quicker you finish things you have today, like school, the sooner you can get on to other things He has for you. That isn't to say that you should work until you are sick and finish school early (although, if you are homeschooled, it might be a reasonable goal for you to look into). The point is that the work you have today is meant to be done today, so do it. Today.
Ephesians 5:15-16
Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
Putting aside work to do what you want to do is not only sinful, but unwise and selfish. We are living in evil days. If you procrastinate today you will procrastinate in the work the Lord has for you! Press on! Persevere! Work for the Lord, brothers and sisters. Together we can accomplish great things.
Christians UNITE...today!
Soli Deo Gloria!
