The apostle Paul, writer of 13 books in the New Testament, was a tent maker.
Did you know that?
I didn't until last night. Paul was not known by his profession; he was known for His dedication to the Lord and his wholehearted devotion towards sharing the gospel. And even though his life ended many years ago, what he wrote is still changing the lives of people today. He allowed God to do great things through him, and in turn, was mightily rewarded for his obedience.
I don't want to be known for writing a blog, being homeschooled, or playing the piano. I want to be known as a girl who strives after the things of the Lord and makes a difference in this world. How about you?
Colossians 3:17 (New International Version)
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Love in Christ,
Jessica
