Good, Better, or Best?

The world we live in today is falling away from God. There is no doubt about that. When everyone is doing what they want it's easy to say, "I'm better than that person. People think she's a perfect little angel; but I act even better than her." The problem? That person might be "good" in the world's eyes. Maybe they go to church or don't do drugs or other illegal stuff that somehow people expect kids to do. So yeah, you're better. You read your Bible. You pray. You don't use bad language; but who are you measuring up to?! The worlds standards mean nothing, when God looks at the heart. The only comparison we can rightly use as Christians is the Bible. God's will is not for us to be better than this sinful world, but following Him. Don't get caught up in not wanting to be "to good." Strive for perfection, for the best. Following God's word is the only right path.
