It is almost 2010! With a new year comes a fresh start to everything-school, sports...etc. I would encourage you to start (if you already haven't) reading your Bible everyday. It is so important for the strengthening of your relationship with Jesus. If you are reading your Bible consistently, why don't you up your reading a little bit? Instead of reading through the Bible in a year, how about 6 months? From then on you can try to do it in smaller and smaller increments of time. I promise you that you will be mightily blessed by doing that! Our relationship with Jesus isn't something to be taken lightly. Our Lord is Creator and Sustainer of every living thing. We should be in awe and yearn to spend time with Him everyday. It may be difficult to get into the "habit" of consistently reading your Bible, but when you look back at the choice that you made to do that, you will be so happy! Attached below is a schedule to help you read through the Bible in one year. It tells you what verses you have to read- and it should only take you about 30 minutes! Enjoy your time with Jesus this year. I pray that God will become more real to you than ever, and that your light will shine even brighter!
